About Us
Hello and welcome!
My name is Amanda and I have been veterinary nursing for 25 years.
I always had a strong passion for animals and use to beg my mum and dad for the cute animals I’d seen in the pet shops that just had to come home with me!
I have 4 children ranging in age from 8-17 years who all share my passion for all things furry ( they don’t really have a choice with me as a mum!)
I have 3 dogs of my own Odie, Wilbur and Bumble. I also have a feisty ginger cat called Keith and 2 guinea pigs Marlowe and Norbert, whom I bred myself (that’s a whole other story, I had over 100 guinea pigs at one point! Which I doted on and showed occasionally).
However my passion has always been all about dogs, for the past 7 years whilst working as a vet nurse I became very involved with behaviour and ran my own behaviour consults.
It is so lovely being able to help dogs and their owners so they lead a happy fulfilling life together. I have worked in various different types of small animal practices to include charity work, referral, emergency care and small animal.
I have decided that I now want to pursue my dream, of following a career in canine behaviour. Training and qualifying under The Institute of Modern Dog Trainers.
And in doing so, I get to meet lots of adorable fur babies along the way! Whilst caring for them and helping in anyway I can. Whether that be dog walking, cat cuddle visits, behaviour consults, puppy training and more.
